In the spring of 2010, members of Aggies Without Limits, Organization of Aggie Students Inspiring Sustainability (OASIS), Aggies go Global (AGG) and Local masons built a new well for a small town of Ruiz de Ancones, located about 80 miles Southwest of Chihuahua city. The town’s old water system was contaminated by a septic tank, causing the people in the community to get sick. A new well was dug by the students with the help of the community and the water was rerouted to connect to the community’s water system. The well is 30 feet deep and supplies the town with much needed clean water.
