In the summer of 2016, Aggies Without Limits partnered up with Foxhole Homes, an organization in Alamogordo, New Mexico, to help establish a community for homeless veterans. For the project, AWL analyzed two different building methods, adobe and rammed earth using the soil found at the site. The goal was to determine which of the building styles was best suited for the needs of the community.
The homes are made out of recycled ,materials, and has the goal of averaging $100 in utilities per year for individuals living in these homes. AWL continues communication with Foxhole Homes, and plans to aid in their mission.
